Davis-Bacon

We are fighting to save Davis-Bacon, the law that supports construction workers and their families by ensuring fair pay through the use of prevailing local rates on public projects. There are those in Congress who fight with their allies to eviscerate it. They wish to allow certain contractors to bid on public projects by compromising job standards, quality and fair pay while earning a higher profit margin for unscrupulous contractors.
