One of the most curious attacks against health care reform from conservative tea-baggers at townhall meetings is that government will take over Medicare and Medicaid. In fact, a conservative economist recently appeared on CNN and stated if you like the Post Office and the Department of Motor Vehicles and you think they’re run well, just wait until you see Medicare, Medicaid, and health care done by the government.
