Last week, President Barack Obama called on Congress to pass Health Care Reform Legislation. While we will continue to fight for the elimination of the tax on employer-provided insurance, the need for health care for all Americans is obvious. But, the need will not be met if we do not push hard at the local level in getting public support behind the effort.
That’s why the Alliance for Retired Americas (ARA), labor’s voice to protect Social Security and Medicare, is calling on our help to get the word out to the local media on this issue.
