Concerned about the availability of trained and qualified workers as well as the future of his employees and their families,  William Woodward, Sr. signed a contract between his company, Ductman Mechanical and SMWIA Local 58 in Rochester, New York.

"I had a real concern for my employees' well-being.  These men have been loyal to me and I wanted to be sure that their future was taken care of" said Woodward.

Besides his loyalty to his workers, Woodward was also concerned about having a well-trained and qualified workforce he could rely on.  With 150 milies separating the Local 58 Union Hall and the Ductman shop, the Local will establish a satellite training facility at the Ductman shop in Norfolk, NY.
